Yogurt Soup – Ayran Ashi

A popular soup or Ash from Azari province of Iran, cooked with yogurt, lots of herbs, garlic and chickpeas. Some people like adding small meat balls.
You can find this dish in North West of Iran- Urmia and Ardabil. Local people called it Ayran Ashi. It is served cold or hot- hot in the winter and cold in the summer.
